Grade Curve Calculator

How It Works

  1. Enter the original grades separated by commas in the textarea.
  2. Specify the curve amount, which is the number of points to add to each grade.
  3. Click the “Calculate Curved Grades” button.
  4. The curved grades will be displayed below, along with a bar chart comparing the original and curved grades.

Recommendations

  • Ensure the grades are entered in a comma-separated format, e.g., “75, 80, 85, 90, 95”.
  • The curve amount should be a positive number. Negative values will decrease the grades.
  • If a curved grade exceeds 100, it will be capped at 100.
  • The calculator assumes equal weighting for all grades. For more complex curving scenarios, additional factors may need to be considered.
