Understanding Your Score
The AP Art History Exam consists of a multiple-choice section and free-response questions. The multiple-choice section has 80 questions and accounts for 50% of your score, while the six free-response questions make up the remaining 50%.
- Multiple-Choice Section: Each correct answer is worth 1.25 points, scaled to 100 points.
- Free-Response Section: Each question is scored out of 10 points, scaled to 100 points.
Your composite score is calculated by averaging the scaled multiple-choice and free-response scores.
